A New Town Square for Downtown SF
Friends of Embarcadero Bricks formed in early 2022 to to advocate for the renovating and expanding Embarcadero Plaza.
With the support of SF Recs and Parks and funding from the Office of Economic Development, the Summer Bricks pilot validated the impact of revitalizing this space.
That Embarcadero Bricks vision was realized in 2024 when the City of San Francisco committed $30M to the Embarcadero Plaza Renovation Project.
